Payments
For printed scrapbooks a non refundable 50% deposit is to be paid up front. Final fee due on completion of the scrapbook. For pages only, full payment is to be paid up front. Book production begins immediately after submitting your order, therefore cancellations and refunds cannot be given once this has occurred. Payment via Paypal or direct deposit is accepted. :)
Why not just get a photo book done in my local camera store?
In store photo book places use a limited range of backgrounds, templates and embellishments. Allowing me to design your album means you are not constrained in how you display your photos. I can colour co-ordinate and design your pages the best way to suit your photos individually.
What sort of paper do you use?
The photo books are digitally printed on high quality 170gsm satin paper stock which is rated as archival according to standard ISO-9706.
What size do the photo's have to be?
Photo quality is important. For best results photos must be a minimum of 300dpi and in JPG or TIFF format. The larger the original photo, the more flexibility I'll have when creating your scrapbook. I cannot be held liable for the quality of print, if the photos provided by you are below minimum requirements.
How do I get my photos to you?
Photos and scanned documents can be posted to me on CD or DVD. I recommend either express or registered post for sending anything that is of great value to you. Depending on the number of photos you wish to use I may accept images by email.
My photos were taken by a professional photographer, are they ok to use?
You will need to make sure you have permission from the photographer for you to use these photos in your scrap book if they are copyrighted. I cannot accept any responsibility for infringement of copyright.
How will you design my scrapbook?
Each scrapbook is unique to you and should reflect your preferred style and theme. Just let me know how creative you want me to be with your photos and what style you would like Example - Scrapbook look, striking, flowery, romantic, simple, modern, stylish etc. Let me know if you have any preferred color themes or any journaling/inspirational quotes you would like me to add. How long till I get my Scrapbook?
The time your scrapbook will take depends upon how much design is involved. On average it could take 2-3 days for me to complete your scrapbook. Your scrapbook will then be sent away for printing and be delivered to the address you give me anywhere from 3-4 weeks.
How do I get organised and where do I begin?
1. Gather the photographs you want to go in your book.
2. Decide if you want the basic or designer photo book.
3. Decide on size, format and number of pages, depending on the number of photos you want to use.
4. Choose your cover material and cover. Supply any captions you want to use in your photo book.
